North Pole Car, Study No 1 – Waynesville, Ohio – 2012

In northern Warren County every Christmas since 2002, this car has intrigued me. But being able to create the image I had envisioned, I needed a snow storm. The day after Christmas in 2012, just as the snow storm started, I left work early and was on my way. The snow was being driven forcefully by the wind that day. The planning and preparation had paid off; I was at the right place, at the right time.

In talking with the owner, this is a 1937 LaSalle branded General Motors car that was made between 1927 and 1940 as a price point just under their Cadillac brand. This version comes with a 322 cu in Monobloc V8.
